We needed to estimate the number of inpatient beds Papua New Guinea would require during the initial wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Pacific Analytics led a consultative process to enable the development of a mathematical model that would enable the Papua New Guinea Government to make early decisions relating to the management of the COVID-19 pandemic. Model outputs were shared with authorities for decision-making within the Emergency Operations structures of National Authorities. Excellent experience.
